Don't take just any tour.
Take Walks of Budapest.
Every tour is private — your group only, no strangers, no headset, no flag. We walk you through the city we live in and tell you what actually happened here.

All private, €200 to €1,000 per group — not per person. A family of four pays the same as a couple.

How booking works
- 1
Tell us the day and what interests you
Message us, or build the whole trip in thetrip planner and send it over. Say how many people, which day, and whether you lean towards history, food, architecture, or just want to walk and talk.
- 2
We confirm a guide and a meeting point
Usually within a few hours. Your hotel lobby is the easiest place to meet, and it costs nothing extra.
- 3
You walk
Plans change. Tell us at least 24 hours ahead and we move the date free of charge, subject to availability.
Why private
A group of thirty can't stop for the thing you noticed
On a large walking tour the route is fixed, the pace belongs to the slowest person, and the guide is talking into a microphone. Nobody asks a question, because asking one holds up twenty-nine other people.
Private costs more per group and less per hour of attention. You can change the plan halfway through. You can sit down. You can ask why the building across the street has bullet holes in it, and get a real answer instead of a rehearsed one.
Real people, real stories
What our travellers say
We don't publish reviews here yet
We'd rather you read them somewhere we don't control. Once our Google and TripAdvisor profiles are live the links will be here — and we never offer anything in exchange for a review.
Not sure which tour?
Tell us how long you're in Budapest and what you'd like to see. We'll say honestly which tour fits — or that none of them do.
